Piku is a 2015 Indian parody dramatization film coordinated by Shoojit Sircar and created by N.P. Singh, Ronnie Lahiri and Sneha Rajani. It stars Deepika Padukone as the main hero, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, with Moushumi Chatterjee and Jishu Sengupta depicting supporting parts. It recounts the tale of the irritable Piku Banerjee (Padukone), her testy, maturing father Bhashkor (Bachchan) and Rana Chaudhary (Khan), who is stuck between the father-little girl team, as they set out on a voyage to Kolkata.
The story and screenplay was composed by Juhi Chaturvedi. Main photography started in August 2014 and was wrapped up in December. Anupam Roy made the soundtrack and score, and composed the verses.
